Scott has been a member of Leeds Gilbert & Sullivan Society since 2013, after graduating from Leeds Youth Opera. Highlights of his performing career include playing a Russian nobleman, a feisty bullfighter, an awkward adolescent, an indentured pirate and a cowardly birdcatcher, but most relatable was a silent Notary in the sell-out world Premiere of A Nice Dilemma (2017) where he said as much as he usually does during board meetings.
After studying Music at the University of Leeds, Scott spent a short time working for the Brighton Early Music Festival and the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment in trainee positions, as well as Opera North for a grand total of 5 years in various roles.
Scott now works in marketing for an automotive brand, and also runs Blackwood Marketing which is responsible for some of the Leeds CAN marketing efforts on a pro bono basis. He hopes to use his skills to attract more audience members to all the Leeds CAN member group performances through content-based engagement.
