Ken has been a member of Leeds Arts Centre since 2012 when he played in a production of ’The Price’ He has since performed for LAC in many other productions and has directed four plays for them.
In 2015/2016 he directed a group of LAC actors in a RSC production of ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ in Bradford and at Stratford upon Avon. Through this collaboration LAC has since been awarded RSC Open Stages status.
He performed at the Edinburgh festival in 2016 in a new musical ‘No Horizon.’, and in a new play ‘Caesar in a Lift.’
Ken has acted in an award winning feature film, ‘Freesia’, which had a limited cinema release in 2016, and in many films for the Northern Film School two of which featured in international film festivals in 2016.
Before joining LAC Ken acted and directed in Bradford with ACT and was a member of the Board at the Priestley Centre for the Arts. (Bradford Playhouse).
Retired from business in 2014, Ken now concentrates solely on his film and theatre work and on his creative writing.
He is the proud holder of the Arnold Plate, an industry award for excellence in presentation and public speaking in 1996.
